Hello. Going out on to assist a small job with the horses (some seniors in a home being taken for a ride in a carriage I think) and was asked if I could do a bit of a cowboy-ish look. So I’m trying to cowgirl it up, which for now means a plaid shirt, braided hair, denim jacket and Doc Martens. Classic!!!

People are way too obsessed with seasons/weather imho. Just wear the appropriate number of layers and get on with it, for fuck’s sake.

(Summer is the worst because this approach doesn’t work and there’s only so many layers you can remove)

For almost the last decade of my life summer has been rounded out by the Fringe and by Edinburgh being totally manic for well over a month.

Last couple of years I’ve taken the last week or two off work and spent it doing shows and boozing and not much else, ending in the last night fireworks display, which always felt like a nice end of summer moment.

None of that this year, obviously, and to make it worse it’s been raining here for what feels like a week now. Literally a damp ending.

Also everyone has changed their avatars and I’m kinda annoyed?
