If you know how something works e.g. a software development methodology and you give literally a sentence to describe the basic features of it do you have to cite something? Why can’t I be trusted?

this was supposed to be a reply in the thread about sources in a dissertation. ‘last year’ was the beginning of a thread i was going to make about something amusing but changed my mind.
last year was okay i guess moved flat drank a lot tried to get big tried to get smart found the best chips in the world enjoyable /10
