There’s a risk you could miss out on entry due to capacity, but I made sure to arrive around 15mins before all the sets I really wanted to see and didn’t miss a single one.

The core venues are all quite close but there’s a few further out which are well worth a visit. It’s very easy to just hop on a bike and get to them within 15mins or so. - https://leguesswho.nl/about/venues

I stayed in a hostel which was very comfortable and very conveniently located. I can’t offer much advice re hotels or air bnbs.

Utrecht DiS ‘we got through it’ Festival Meet Up? :grinning:

They kept adding loads of acts to the lineup in 2019 didn’t they?

Big Lucrecia Dalt fan, have a feeling she’ll be looking g to add/curate loads right up my street.

Only festival that really interests me these days .

Yes, you get drip-fed bits at a time.

Yeah, think there’s normally 4/5 releases.
I wondered if they’d end up booking 2020’s lineup again. Hope they can get tamirkrest still

Was any of 2020s line up ever released or leaked?

My main problem is getting away from work in November. Might book anyway, fuck it.

Do you work Mon-Fri? If so, get a late flight on Thursday, pull a sickie on Friday and get a super early flight on Monday morning.

Utrecht is a direct train to Amsterdam Airport so it’s possible to do Thurs PM > Mon AM if you can deal with an early flight.

Don’t think I’m going to book anything until next spring just because it seems insane planning a year in advance at the moment, but if there’s a few more electronic additions like Forest Swords above I’ll definitely go.

Cheers. I’m a bit too old and knackered to do that. Im crap at travelling and the stress.
If I go I’ll probably turn it more into a mini holiday and go see Amsterdam as well.

I actually found a good train option when I looked in 2019. Still couldn’t wrangle the time of work unfortunately.

Definitely didn’t read that as PWEI and get very excited.

i’ve gone by ferry every time, it’s good value. last year i might have been the last person to arrive, walking into the harwich terminal it was just the receptionist there, who said “hello mr furryfan”. you don’t get that on the plane or eurostar, felt like james bond  james bond is bad, i know.
aargh, sometimes it’s difficult for me to get to primavera and lgw because work, might commit to this, always guaranteed amazing, but good to know some nailed on stuff… damon lock w/ angel bat dawid, dj lycox at basis.
@rocksrocksrocks stuff you said in the ‘have you been to gigs by…’ thread made me think you would love lgw

One year I couldn’t get the Monday off work, so I drove from Utrecht to Dunkirk on the Sunday night to get to work at 8am :anguished: ferry was late and driving up the M20 during is hellish. I doubt I could do that next year with Brexit and all.

Fair point.

National Express nightbus London to Amsterdam (or maybe Eindhoven? ) stops off at Utrecht at 9am at the Train Station on the way.
