Voted Froome, but hope Porte wins. A lesser known rider to win polka dot please, like a Nieve or Navarro and not swept up by the overall winner. Hopefully Ion Izaguirre targets it. Nobody will be as consistent as Sagan. And Movistar do very well in team classifications.

Glad Valverde is out, doping cunt. Froome is probably in the second worst position now, looking for his team to offload to yellow jersey at the nearest opportunity to stop this team overworking, but the sprint stages mean Thomas probably can’t get rid until the stages in the Jura.

question: during the highlights commentary they kept saying ‘ooh we don’t know if valverde is going to abandon or not’ when he was blatantly lying smashed into bits on the floor and not going to finish the stage.

Surely he has to finish the stage and cross the line to conitnue the tour? Or do they get special leeway on the short tt tracks, like on the long stages where there’s a cutoff point for crashes within certain distance of finish line (is it 1km or 3km?)

Also fucking hell!! why not use foam padding for the barriers at the corners ?
