oh fuck i’d forgotten about this. i can easily ignore most of his stuff but this one is infuriatingly awful.

also the line about having sex makes him sound like a teenager who hasn’t had sex
Nah man, the ‘P90X’ line really, REALLY irks me.
that whole verse makes him sound like a 14 year old boy.

forgot to delete part of that before posting it. WHEN ARE YOU LETTING US EDIT OUR POSTS AGAIN SEAN?

Reef - Place Your Hands

Never liked the song to begin with but after 3 years of university nights out where every club played it as one of their final songs every night, the opening guitar lick now makes me weep with anger and hatred.

Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door is probably the most offensive Guns n’ Roses song. Sweet Child O’ Mine… idk. Used to make my blood boil too but now I can see how it could be fun. I think the fact that I now rarely come into contact with massive G n’ R fans who seriously believe they made the greatest music ever and love “technical” guitar playing and shit has softened my hate. As a bit of a laugh, rather than the pinnacle of mankind’s achievement it’s more palatable.

I think I just can’t stand axls voice

Oh yeah, the voice and the screechy guitar work from Slash are pretty offensive. I definitely get it. Used to be like nails down a blackboard for me but kinda made my peace with it/would still never listen by choice

Alexandra Burke - Start without you. Takes some beating

Heard a song on magic fm in our office the other day. It’s called A Thousand Hallelujahs by The Shires. You won’t forget the first time you heard it

It’s gotta be Bowling For Soup - Girl All The Bad Guys Want

Still occasionally go to a pop punk night and when I hear that riff I’ve gotta leave. Just awful, awful band

a close second would be that Proclaimers 500 miles song. This didn’t stop me on my first ever night out shouting VIAGRA with everyone else during it

Nah GnR are good, Appetite is great.

This is stuck in my head now

First song that came to mind:

Heard Chelsea Dagger on the radio earlier, I promptly switched it off.

Oh God. Had just managed to forget about this song. Thanks m8

from wikipedia (can this be real etc.)

“Rude” was named after the reggae term “rude boy” and originally based on a real-life situation. The lead singer of Magic!, Nasri, had been in an unhealthy relationship with a previous girlfriend. After Nasri got in a fight with his girlfriend, the band based the song off of that headline. The couple was in a “mean time” when they were both being rude to each other, as Nasri says in what he describes as a “dark vibe.”
