Salted liquorice goes down pretty well here.

Someone brought back some dried fish snacks from Scandinavia last year, they’re still in a tupperware box into which they were banished. Absolutely stank the office out but quite tasty imo

It is soooo much nicer, I always hated turkish delight as a child, turns out that I was eating FAKE stuff.

Yer non chocolate covered stuff is so superior. Usually can get lemon ones if you’re not a fan of the rose flavour too. Absolutely top veggie sweet tbh, gorge on about three boxes every Christmas.

Came in here to say about the Durian sweets we had here. Whole office smelt like a cross between the gas taps from school and raw onion whenever someone got tricked into eating one.

Same goes for egg custard tarts (pasteis de nata if you want to be oh-la-la about it) sooooooooooooooooooooo nice, possibly my favourite tart ever (apart from everybody’s mum). Although, I almost asphyxiated myself by accidentally inhaling a packet of cinnamon I got with them once.

Bought back various confectionery from Japan. All wackily named, all utterly atrocious.

I used to work for an American, and she used to bring in Hershey’s Kisses. They’re inedible.

When we had some Japanese visitors they brought some banana biscuits and wasabi KitKats. 10/10

Yeah, Hershey’s seems to be standard for anyone coming back from a trip to America, even though everyone acknowledges it’s repulsive.

Our last US trip person brought back an enormous bag of Reese’s peanut butter cups. They’re now my favourite person in the office.

(Still not sure what their name is though.)

I’m normally absolutely hateful towards Hershey’s but their white chocolate and cookie bar is pretty good. Was quite doubtful but really enjoyed it.
