Think about it literally every time I slice garlic (which is very very often)

It would only burn if you used too much heat and not enough oil (or cooked it for ages and ages I guess)

  • I have used a razor blade to slice garlic to test this
  • I haven’t used a razor blade but I have tried slicing garlic really thin to see if this might work
  • I just chop the stuff. It’s only garlic

Saw a video with Marco Pierre White the other day where he was slicing onions super tiny so that they would ‘melt in the pan’, so I have every reason to believe this would work.
