Had a contractor show up at house today to look at our dishwasher. Wasn’t home, guy got all lippy with my GF because she wanted to pay via check (and was busy on calls). He demanded cash for some reason, she felt threatened so called me, lucky I was working only 15 minutes away. All apologetic when I walked in the door. Fucking cunt.

Got my foot trapped in my headphone cable, pulled my laptop off the desk at speed, plus external hard drive, and then a heavy microphone fell on it. It seems to be fine, ThinkPad forever!

I properly howled ‘NOOOO’ like Luke Skywalker when it happened, my whole life is on this fucking computer lol

In happier news I got some great feedback from an industry bod about some music I’ve made, which is the second time this has happened in the last couple of months and is really heartening, and shows how far I’ve managed to grow and learn since starting figuring out the production side of things a couple of years ago. Yay!

(Of course, this music is stored on the laptop I was concerned that I had just killed, which was an extra layer of utter panic)
