nah, take it off the heat and just leave it alone.

Oh good.

Cheers.

Breakfast is for wimps

One cup of tea

Yes: slice of toast with boiled egg or scrambled eggs or cheese or jam

Scrambled eggs on toast

Eggs florentine, obviously.

Weekdays. Never eat before leaving the house. Normally a croissant or a cheese scone with tea when I get to the office.

Weekend. Unfortunately, my gf prefers a continental style load of bread and cold meats, but I usually try to make something eggs-citing at least one morning: scrambled; baked; omelette; french toast; whatever.

Many good places for a sunday brunch but my favourite is always eggs benedict. Love a kedgeree too but can really only be arsed to make it once a year.

Perfect fry up:
Essentials:
2 fried eggs (soft); 3 sausages (links); 2 tattie scones; haggis; mushrooms; tea
Optional extras:
1 sausage (lorne); 2 rasher bacon (only if not remotely crispy); toast (cheap white bread); black pudding (becomes essential if some clown has added beans.)

During the week, I’ll usually have this with cashew milk. It’s v yummy and it makes me poo almost instantly for some reason.

At the weekends, I don’t generally have time for much as I have to be at the gym at 9:30am so need to eat by 8:30 and will usually just have toast and a smoothie.

If i do a special brek at the weekend, it’s vegan fry up. Mushrooms, spinach, beans, tomatoes, hash browns, toast.

I don’t generally go to cafes. If we go for a nice outside breakfast, i’ll have whatever vegan option is on offer.

best eggs benedict variation?

Trying to cut down on cooked brekko. During the week ill have some combo of cereal, banana and smoothie.

Weekend ill have eggs, toast and coffee. If eating out

kedgeree is brilliant but it’s meant to be a breakfast dish. can’t say i’m into it first thing in the morning.

Sometimes before the last mouthful, sometimes not.

I bloody love it. Kedgeree’s kick of fish, curry powder and lemon. Kippers on toast with lots of butter. Smoked salmon bagels. Apparently I really love fish for breakfast.

Weekdays: either weetabix, porridge with honey and sultanas, or poached eggs on toast if I have time

Weekends: poached eggs and beans on toast, sometimes go for a full fry, especially if I have friends staying.

fucking love a good fry

At the weekend I tend to do poached (underwater fried eggs)

Toast on weekdays in the office
Bagel/Crumpet/Muffin at the weekend

Best cooked breakfast is as follows:

3x Sausages
1x Scrambled eggs
1x Beans
2x Bacon
3x Hash Browns
2x Toast
Fuckloads x Mushrooms

Bacon should be put in the toast as a sandwich with brown sauce, tomatoes can fuck off and the egg is only really there because it’s supposed to be.

Weekdays: mostly poached eggs on toast
Weekends: will do scrambled eggs on toast, maybe with some bacon or smoked salmon

I’ve stopped eating cereal, it just leaves me hungry.

Monday - Supermarket own brand malted wheats
Tuesday - Quaker microwave golden syrup porridge
Wednesday - Quaker microwave golden syrup porridge
Thursday - Bacon roll from Sainsbury’s hot shelf
Friday - Quaker microwave golden syrup porridge
Saturday - Choc chip brioche and a mug of coffee
Sunday - Usually get a lie in so nothing

Weekdays
Bran Flakes – as I said earlier this week, M&S sell the best on the market

Weekends
Sometimes a breakfast pastry, like a pain au chocolat
Sometimes a sausage sandwich if I remembered to defrost the sausages
Sometimes bran flakes
Sometimes yogurt with fruit and honey (I love this one the most)

I am an idiot and sometimes my weekday breakfast plan is disrupted as either all the cereal or milk are gone. Pret a Manger ham and cheese croissant is my favourite substitute, and I will often buy this with their yogurt and granola pot thing

I make a large batch of bircher muesli a couple of times a week for me and the TV.

Ratios:
50g rolled oats
100g Fage full fat yogurt
50 ml water
Half a grated apple (braeburn, ‘standard’ grater size)
Dash of cinnamon
Something else (e.g. pomegranate seeds, blueberries)

At the weekend, tend to make porridge.

Standard fry-up is full English.
