How’s the tomato selection in Spanish supermarkets? It’s great here, loads of variety, all different colours, sizes etc. I went off tomatoes before moving here as the ones it the UK often taste sharp and not very tomato-like. Enjoying #tomatochat lads.

superb. they’re literally all delicious too. said this before, but the one thing I notice the most between the UK and Spain is the quality of fruit and veg here.

I was very excited that the selection of green, yellow etc. tomatoes aren’t super expensive either. I haven’t tried any of the big beefsteak tomatoes yet but this thread is making me want to.

Most tomatoes sold in the UK have been grown in Dutch greenhouses. They haven’t seen a second of sunlight.
