the famed marble of Highbury
Usually some good fossil hunting to be had in those sorts of tiled places. Tons of ammonites in the toilet approach in the arndale
I don’t get how they’re made
Learnt recently that the newish ‘town centre’ (don’t kid yourself folks, it’s a horrible retail park) near me has got loads of fossils in the stone they’ve used to clad the buildings.
I cant find any pictures online of my absolute favourite, which was the flooring in Fareham Shopping Centre in the '90s - cream and dark red if I recall correctly.
The dark curved stripes were the red bit, it was amazing. It’s been modernised now, which is probably for the best but look at how '70s that is! Pretty sure those panels on the upper walls were brown.
That’s just some Radiohead arse artwork.

That instantly took me back to my childhood. Used to love the Christmas displays in that square. Worked in that Woolworths for a bit.
Once got lost there as a kid. Mum was absolutely furious with me for wandering off.
