Reckon this grid based method must be great for learning music, clearly visualising the intervals (if on chromatic scale) and timing. Kind of think that gets obscured with the layout of guitar and keyboard

I reckon this thread would be a good basis for a cool Disintegration State compilation, you could pair up one of the non-music types with one of the label artists and use the song maker to build some ideas together which the music-y type can flesh out to a finished song.

Do you think we could do anything with my little tune? Made another couple of minor edits to it. The top part I think sounds good with something along the lines of that pizzicato string sound, but I prefer the lower half with that ‘woodwond’ vibe. Also with the limitations of the percussion I just used the kick sound, I think it works well with something quite simple and unobtrusive for the beat but maybe could use more than what is there?

Not sure what other textures or how to build it as it is difficult to envision with the limited loop.
