Let's talk about depth baby

so, I’ve been in le shuttle, which drops to about 75m below sea level at points. I’ve also been in caves and shit which go down much further than 75m, but are still well above sea level. Which answer would you prefer?

“Well-heeled” doesn’t mean what I thought it does

been in some caves. dunno what ones were deepest. not going to look it up.

cheers.

I’ll take the deeper of the two please.

Ant, please don’t pull this sort of shit in your own thread

Caves and shit mate, it’s pretty blindingly obvious isn’t it!? Fuck me…

I’ll go with Nick Cave then, he’s pretty deep

Born 23 ft below sea level.

right, everybody out. This has been a real damp squib.

It’s pretty much as deep as you can go without doing special training and stuff.

I’ve just realised that I’ve been on the channel tunnel too, which is deeper than that anyway.

Been down The Big Pit, which is 300ft down.

Where is this big pit?

Mate, it’s THE Big Pit.

have to say, I didn’t have high hopes for this thread. looks like my initial suspicions have been confirmed, unfortunately

is that 300ft below sea level?

No, the pit goes 300ft below ground-level, but the opening of the pit is on top of the Blaenavon moors, so must be above sea level.

thanks for clarifying, people could learn a lot from your polite decorum

That time I was in a Sum 41 covers band.

110 feet below when scuba diving, doing a wall dive in the Bahamas. Possibly more in a submarine, but don’t actually remember how deep that went, also in the Bahamas.
