Just adds insult to injury that it’s pretty much giving any opponents to arts funding a tooootal open goal
Like nothing against Hockney inherently or anything, but giving the money to less recognised artists / people who suffered more financially from the pandemic would have been such an obvious thing to do, I’m genuinely staggered that no one seemed to ask this question
