i’ve got a google sheet with my favourite 12 albums of every year, obviously
I save albums I want to listen to as playlists on spotify and then at the end of the year put them all in a folder called like ‘2024’ or whatever, buy the ones I liked best on bandcamp and start again
Doubly cursed with remembering everything and a need to make spreadsheets.

That CMAT album definitely would have been my pick for 2022 but I didn’t hear it until mid-2023 so I don’t think I can count it
