ok, taken out of context of the album or even the song, i can see that, but that’s a bit like when RTJ only do the first 2 verses of Love Again live and the audience is treated to a song purely about a woman sucking off a man, whereas on record there’s a final verse where BOOM, it’s a two way thing.
Like further through what you just quoted there’s:
“And she said, I’ve been so worried about you lately
You look shit and smell a bit
You’re mad thinking you could ever save me
Not looking like that”
I’ll add, if i need to, that of all the songs on the album that is one of the worst lyrically though.
I don’t really get the neediness and self regard aspect, but whatever.
