In the latter half of “Cherub Rock” there’s a vocal line in one of the chorus repeats where Billy and/or D’Arcy sing “let me hear ya say” or “everybody sing” or something like that. You can barely hear it. I never heard it until I heard the vocals-only mix from Guitar Hero.
It’s such a cheesy classic rock move for what is, at its core, kind of a cheesy classic rock song. Love it.

Oh yes! Glad to finally learn what this is. I’d never noticed it until listening to the (presumably remastered) best of CD in the car when it was suddenly really prominent!
