My guess would be either the ground level outside your window is too high and breaching your dpc (if you have one); a leaky gutter or downpipe in that location; or the window cill drip isn’t working and rainwater is running back into the wall.

Worst case scenario is that your bay window is moving away from the rest of the house, but that would be unlucky, I think.

Defrost the freezer
Glue a bit of kitchen trim back on that is supposed to clip on, but the clip has broken
Prune some bushes

that’s why i didn’t stand on a chair!

There’s nothing built up outside the window and no DPC I don’t think

Will have a look at the guttering. Got a person coming to look at the damp and had been thinking about replacing the bay window (from a noise perspective) anyway so if it’s the window’s fault we’ll be happy

Didn’t do this today, kitchen still looks like a crypt.

It’s bullshit, I’m so happy now that LED bulbs are more of a thing because repeatedly replacing GU10s in rented properties where the wiring has been done by your landlord’s mate 10 years ago sucks. We had two out of five spotlights in our old bathroom at any one time because the rest just blew constantly.

Wash the shower curtain.

Can you put shower curtains in washing machines?

i really need to shower my washing machine

Yeah!

did you spill your shower cans?

We can with ours. Never really thought about it tbh, just chuck it in on a 30 i think! If it fucks up, how much is a new curtain?

Loads of things

Get rid of a box of kitchen stuff
Get rid of 2 x hamster cages
Arrange for the many broken electrical items to be removed (Xbox, sandwich toaster, computer speakers, hoover, probably more)
Bin all my old university notes
Get rid of loads of stuff related to my old record label
Finish painting the hallway
Replace the dead spotlights in the kitchen

Will I do any of this tomorrow? Probably not.

Got forced to replace all the bathroom lights last weekend cos the final one died, and Scotland in November is not a place to have no bathroom light.

I ACTUALLY DID THIS

Put in the hallway of the building with a sign offering it to the neighbours, 90% of it has gone in 24hrs. Hope they all enjoy it.

I did replace the kitchen light bulbs, and as a result it’s now very bright in there! I can see the crud I didn’t see while cleaning before!

bathroom door on the top floor doesn’t latch properly, need to fix this. need to adjust latches throughout actually because some doors rattle a little.

I need to adjust our bedroom window because the handle doesn’t close properly. Hoping there’s something you do with an allen key to adjust this.

I have half a ton bag of MOT1 on the drive. I don’t think I can get around to building some steps with this (to access the woods behind the garden), but I could at least shovel the aggregate around the back and tidy the driveway

We stuck a rainbow across my son’s bedroom window and this has left some sticky residue on the UPVC. Need to get some sticky stuff remover onto this

I have a small hole in my office wall that I need to fill.
