LME thread: WWYD if London was cancelled tomorrow

What would you do? Where would you go? How would you live? Any plans to cancel yourself out of London in the near future anyway (ruffers)?

Manchester, cheers

Would you simply be able to transplant yourself there and keep doing what you do?

Well, presumably my office would also be cancelled given it’s in London?

Basically, my job is probably the only reason I haven’t properly explored moving to Manchester

I was going to say I’d be quite happy cos it would mean less travelling for work.

But everything would most probably move to Birmingham, which due to some railway stupidity is a journey as long, if not a bit longer, from here.

I’d love to leave tbh

So what’s the plan, daggy?

This is a ‘where would you live if you couldn’t live in London’ thread, isn’t it?

If I stayed in the UK, then either Newcastle or Glasgow, if I could get a job and fancied living a quiet life.

If not, then Amsterdam, or Copenhagen, or Toronto, or Montreal, or Vancouver, maybe, depending on whether I or my girlfriend would have to re-train or re-qualify.

STAY OUTTA CAMBRIDGE

Things i feel bad about leaving behind (except mates):

  • shops and bars open late

Things I feel good about leaving behind: (except enemies)

  • everything else

Yeah, keep Gateshead out, but leave (most of) Newcastle in.

If I wasn’t going to Cardiff I could live with Bristol, Leeds or Newcastle. Nowhere else.
