Lockdown Free Pass

I’m a weirdo who enjoys the water cold. Maybe something to do with coming from an island where its always freezing.

Went to Bjorke in Norway a few years back and swam in the fjords. Cold but bloody brilliant.

Go to an outdoor festival, picnic lunch, dance to live music with friends, ideally kiss a pretty person.

If I was having a down day, would love to be able to call one of my ATDs who live close by and have them come sit in our garden and drink wine with me.

I believe they call it al fresco

Would be quite up for getting the train to leigh-on-sea, sinking a few pints then wandering along the estuary for some mini golf and a Wimpy.

I guess if take that over what we’ve got now.

Had to do that walk against my will far too many times as a child though so it isn’t my favourite.

Maybe just get fish and chips at L-o-S and an ice cream and sit on a bench there.

Think Scarborough was the equivalent I had growing up, spent so much time marching along the cliffs. Such an odd place to have a Chinese gardens:

Would be up for a trip rn, just go up and down the funicular for ages.

Yeah, living in Cambridgeshire, I just want to see either (a) a hill or (b) the sea. Preferably both, in the west of Scotland, or Pembrokeshire, or the Donegal/Antrim coast. But frankly I’d take a day trip to Lowestoft right now.

The pub, either:

  • Sunday afternoon fitba and beers with Paw and brother-in-law, then family dinner
  • Beer, poker and pizza (no cheese on mine pls) with the local card school

Attend End of The Road, assuming my pass allows events and thousands of people to come with

See my mum.
