Phonox at Brixton is good too (used to be Plan B). Going there to see Daniel Avery on Sunday in fact. But this information isn’t helpful.

Ah really, I’ve thankfully never found that? Bouncers have been some of the friendliest I’ve found anywhere in London - compared to places like Village Underground in any case.

As noted above, Phonox is your best bet in South London for a techno night which isn’t sold out or mega pricey. Will attract fewer halloween types too.

Did not know this was on - still tickets available too! My plans to relax on Sunday now in tatters.

I’m going to it early doors before going to the last night at the Good Ship like I’m a bloody teenager or something.

Hm yeah just over jealous searching and the need for ID etc though I know the latter is quite common these days. As I say, never a bit of nuisance once I’ve been in.

I went out of curiosity for my 21st birthday. It felt like the provincial nightclubs I went to before i moved to London (not necessarily a bad thing), although I love a carpeted dance floor.

Meet up and masturbate.

They all tend to be warehouses

Now singing thread title to tune of

Phonox could be the one thanks everyone.

Though Brixton had been Clapham-ified now though.

it has. but there’s an all night mcdonalds nearby so…

eh

It has a banner proudly proclaiming that it’s been open since 1989 and now in it’s 28th year. It was originally a 25 year celebration banner, but they just tape a new number over the relevant part of the signage each year :+1:

There’s a boxpark type thing now so maybe not exactly like Clapham I guess.

thats probably more clapham than clapham itself.

Just realised what an idiotic thing to say this was.
