Reading’s pretty expensive for houses tbf, certainly due to fallout from sludge city but it’s more than double the av. of Cardiff for instance. Some might say for obvious reasons.
When did you become so MEAN.
although I suspect that’s just West London. West London is truly awful.
So confusing, why are all the shops just people’s names
didn’t see any shops apart from the Westfield tbh. Although that could be someone’s name I guess.
Just move up north and take your hat/coat bullying like a man.
oops had my response to ruffers in draft /\
I KNEW it.

EDITING BASTARD
I moved back to London 7-ish years ago. Have spent most of that time dreaming about leaving London again.
Reading’s a weird place. Was staying in a gaff right next to the Madejski stadium. Took what seemed like a long bus journey somewhere else, and we were still next to the Madesjki stadium. Can’t escape it.
It is known. Why on earth did you move there, man
Can wear funny hats and/or coats
Economic ecosystem even worse than the rest of the country for extracting every single penny out of your pocket
200 pound a month rent. still wasn’t enough to keep me there.
thought that was a bit rich tbh. the house was my atd’s parents that they were selling, so we’d have to keep the place looking spotless all the time/be okay with people coming in for viewings at all hours. the 200 was to cover ‘bills’. don’t think I could run up 200 quid on bills a month if I tried.
There are other places in Britain just as bad, and with less benefits (except for housing, I’ll give you that)
I believe we had a thread about how london was shit yesterday (food halls)

Tbh I only put that in to avoid an angry Londoner telling me other places were just as bad.
CAN’T WIN EITHER WAY
think the UK in general has too much stuff in it. fucking dizzying. go out into the country and there’s still fuckers mooching around or living there. once you’ve experienced living somewhere a bit more rural, it’s hard not to notice/to live with it.
and I used to be London’s number 1 city boy.
