Yea, Iām not sure how I feel about thatā¦
Since lockdown, Iāve noticed that more and more people are now forming queues at bars. Standing in a queue for a self service beer is the dystopian future I didnāt sign up for. Seriously, how depressing.

Might be better than the ticketing system they run at the bar normally
Yeah I noticed that when I was there for Superchunk a couple of weeks ago. Only saw one person using them I think. Their bar system is incredibly annoying, but thankfully the only negative thing about the venue ( itās not even a bar, more a cafe counter pretending to be a bar)

Think so - at least I was also at Superchunk (very fun gig; also noticed the dystopian self-service bar thankfully untroubled) - was a scorching day and it was fine in there - and it was a lot cooler in there than the Seefeel gig last year

ā¦..Iād probably wait for @Waylonjenningslive to corroborate this! But think I would have remembered being uncomfortably hot (like I was during Bar Italia at Sala 2 in Barca during primavera recently) and I had a mental note pre-Ica that it could be a bit of an ordeal in there from memories of the venue. I also have a thing about not liking being hot during gigs (which is why my biggest headscratcher is people that donāt check in their coats for gigs - surprisingly common; each to their own I guess)

Iām terrible in the heat so maybe not best person to ask, but that gig felt like an absolute sweat boxā¦ that was a scorching day.
definitely no aircon in the main room, some aircon near the cloakroom maybe?
check some photos of Mac during the gig, he was soaked wet through! Looked like he was going to die!
