Didn’t Max Richter release an 8 hour album. I’ve never listened to it as I’m not quite sure I can handle that.

he released an hourish edit of it. the concept of it was to listen to while you sleep though so it’s not like you’re supposed to pay close attention, just wallpaper basically.

I’ve listened to the eight hour thing through once while conscious (in batches, admittedly), and I’ve slept through it quite a few times. He did an overnight thing at the Barbican last weekend. I shall always regret missing it.

Considered buying tickets, but they were something like £125 per person and you weren’t allowed to bring alcohol. Seemed a bit too much of an endurance test.
