Well it’s because I don’t think of that sort of heavy van type of thing as a lorry, I only think of articulated lorries as ‘lorries’. I consider ‘lorry’ as short of articulated lorry.

In fairness, that thing in the photo is basically a big van (7.5 tonner). But ‘lorries’ definitely come in non-articulated form.

I am not claiming to be right, I am simply informing Balonz how I feel about his use of lorry.

The word lorry has lost all meaning reading this thread.

I think it’s because the back ones are doublers and if they were outies then there’d be massive nuts running through the wheel.
