Any readers here? I sadly got an email this week saying they were taking a break from publication and refunding subscriptions without a firm date when printing would resume.
From a selfish point of view I was gutted because I’d just resubscribed after a while…however it’s obviously more concerning for anyone with their livelihood involved. The email was typically phlegmatic and optimistic, talk of freeing up time to manage their workload…but since it’s one week before publication I suspect the financial reality is pretty bleak (understandably, I should add).

I’m a subscriber. Very disappointing, but hopefully it hasn’t gone away for good.
Didn’t know they did a print magazine but their website is pretty good for reviews. Put me onto new releases from Fer Franco, Lotic, Hawa, Unknown T and probably many more over the past few years that I’d potentially otherwise have missed.
I used to love the print paper whenever I’d see it in town
I’d be surprised if it’s gone for good, since they just started a new series of the Midnight Chats podcast
Print media is dying, if not dead already. I’m glad they are still going as an online concern though. They had taken over from Pitchfork for me for good reviews and hearing about new music.
