No I made it as a gift for someone (who loved it). I recently got some wool in exactly the right colour, so I guess I’ll make another.

That one was quite a pleasure to work on. I did the typesetting on it.

My other half bought the Wes Anderson in a charity shop recently. Very pleasing to get it so cheap.

Why, is it worth a lot?

It’s a danger to let myself walk into the big branch of Foyles on Charing Cross Rd.

A right Sackville-Baggins move to sell that though

I approve of this incredibly nerdy post.

my dad nicked his from his school library (it has a big stamp on it) when he was like 13. It’s not immaculate and I am doubtful it’s the first edition. It’s a very lovely book tho  it’s my dads favourite book.

Great thread!

Got this nice edition of Norwegian Wood. Signed by the big man himself.

Bought this copy of The Master and Margarita for my wife as it’s her favourite novel.

Also, this edition of The Big Sleep.

Which one?
Who are you??

I used to work at a company that designed and typeset books, mostly fiction but also some non fiction. Barely Imagined Beings was one that I worked on at that time.

That Murakami is lovely. I had a couple signed by him. Sold one, and sent another to an artist I kind of know. He was stoked.
