This song has massively grown on me throughout the day. To the point I think I might like this song more than anything on Double Negative. This might be recency biased though.
Finally let them grab me on Double Negative. I now love lots of their more straightforward albums, productionwise, but I’d love another collection of DN style tracks
I love Low but always felt slightly underwhelmed by Double Negative compared to the reviews and the discourse - I felt that the production overtook the songs themselves and found they were much better live for me. This is absolutely what I wanted Double Negative to sound like - great balance between the distortion and the clean. Properly epic - it just absolutely hits me in the chest like all my favourite Low songs.
