We haven’t had a good lunch thread in a while! I have nothing in the house and lots of options a short walk away so what should I have?

Battered quorn fillets and veg in Sainsbury’s ‘chip shop curry’ sauce with chips I reckon. Although that might be for dinner, in which case it’s chorizo and smoked cheese baguettes for lunch.

Just veggie sausages and new potatoes for me.
Had chips, beans and mushy peas.
Being lactose intolerant and vegetarian (I’m a vegetarian now) in the work canteen is going really really well, thanks for asking.
This reminds me I have some yo sushi katsu sauce in the cupboard, I could get some chicken goujons and have an impromptu katsu curry

What’s this like? I got the Chinese one and the sauce is ok but its got peas and stuff in so is a bit weird.
Have you considered bringing your own?
First time we’ve bought it. Normally get the katsu one but this was 70p cheaper.

I check the free packed lunch options every day as first option, then when I inevitably can’t eat any of it I’ll either try the canteen or go to Tezbots/M&S

Yeah but you earn more than enough to just buy your own every day and not have to complain or risk eating the wrong thing. I thinking you just like having a moan and I have no sympathy.
