I love them. Everything just… works**. That’s what I need.
**- Yes I know this doesn’t extend to when the hardware gets fucked and Apple want loads of £££ to sort it, that’s how they make their money I know this
also they cost one thousand pounds
can’t play games on them, probably can’t run Ableton on them either
Ah ok, I must have been mistaken back in 2016
Some of them do. Let people make up their own minds if they want to spend that much on a phone.
I like my Mac because of the iCloud integration with other stuff (sure you can probably do similar with windows/Android now but not for as long), no anti virus/spyware grinding it to a halt, seems to maintain itself better, no registry going to ruin defragging and whatnot, more affordable software (like logic) offsets some of the additional cost, think lots of music stuff is developed primarily with Mac users in mind so it always works, just generally better and worth the additional cost to me. I’d love for them not to be better as they are a bad company
Windows on the streets*, Mac between the the sheets**
*at work where I have to use specialised applications that simply don’t run on OS X
**at home where basically all I do on it is tweet, order takeaways, and edit podcasts I’ll never release
people who sit in cafes and art centres taking up table space with their mac books whilst not ordering anything are the worst people ever.
FTFY…
I’ve never used Kodi, no. But if it constantly needs updating I would blame Kodi rather than the computer.
Fixed.
think we should have a “share your pedalboard” sesh on the gear nerds thread
Worse than murders?
I wouldn’t say that. I am only speaking from my own experience.
I think you’ve missed my point here, but nevermind.
You’d have to go some way to convince me it’s worth paying more than £300 for a laptop
Any excess cash is better spent on other things.
Like components to upgrade your new laptop
Not for me, clive
Perhaps. Maybe you could explain it so that I understand.
Dude obviously hasn’t got good patch cables and buffers.
