When I think of Ray acting (not bug heading) I always picture him talking while eating an apple. Maybe he did it in one of those Mr Ripley films that isn’t the Talented Mr Ripley.

I think it’s probably about “I don’t know what to do with my hands” being a common thing that is difficult about acting and so if you just go “fuck it, I’ll eat an apple while I act” it’s easy to tie up your hands with something else.
