Manchester dinner spots?

Wife and I are here for the first time on a training course and wondering if there are any recommends for a cool spot for dinner. I hear the Northern Quarter is the place to go?

We’re staying around Piccadilly but don’t mind a bit of a walk. Cheers!

Another Hand is banging. It’s on Deansgate Mews.

Daughter (lives there) says Deano’s, which looks like you’d stagger away or maybe a stretcher. We had dinner with her at Evelyn’s last time we visited and it was lovely, and a fun place, but (as with many small plate places) might be viewed as expensive. The cocktails/mocktails downstairs were absolutely incredible, and you get some money off if you eat above.

She also recommends ‘wolf at the door’.

We’re going with Evelyn’s - thanks all!

any other recommends for cool spots to see or do. We’re only here for the night, sadly.

The curry chip barm bao in wolf at the door is addictive (and £1)
