Our office is in the Olympic Park and every week there are these three older lads (gonna say late 50s or so) who you see in the park with two footballs and all they do is just try and lump it towards each other in kind of a big triangle but they’re all absolutely shite, proper shanked toe-punts every attempted pass, they never find their target and I think the reason they have two balls is so they can continue when one of the trio has to run off to retrieve a wayward pass. One of them is always topless.

I genuinely love seeing them, it makes me dead happy but it’s sad that they’re (presumably) not doing it now.

Really annoyed, had a semi final at a proper ground to look forward to on the Sunday following the lockdown announcement.

Apparently, the league are going to do some kind of ‘world cup’ style tournament in the summer for our leagues and the cup competition will be finished so it could be worse.

Really missing weekly training though, I’m hypermobile/ehler Danlos so I get loads of knocks and injuries but i also get well achey particularly at night without regular exercise and that’s the worst part for me.

Assume it lasts a year, and assume they all get paid £50k a year (they don’t), that’s £25m in wages.
