The relegation battle in the premier league becomes the only interesting thing after January when there isn’t much of a title race on.
There is nothing more boring than all the talk of teams fighting out for champions league places, all so you can watch them crash out in the second round of a tournament fans claim is less important than the league.
That’s why the championship is always way more interesting. Bring in the European super league already. Premier league is dull

I have to say (with the caveat that he had more or less fuck all to do all game) that Andre Marriner reffed really well today. Let play go rather than giving silly free kicks that a lot of refs would, did his utmost to try and get a football match going. Definite man of the match.

I certainly got out of the ground sharpish at the end. The problem was that at the final whistle that a few Middlesbro fans ran onto the field to celebrate and a sizeable portion of the Shed just charged at them. After that it was bedlam.
