Cheers ‘Pete’

Sat next to some right tools today. “Not very clever now Tom” a highlight.

I mean I’m happy for you personally but BOOOOOOOOO!
Also, I’m happy you won cause the only Peterborough fan I know beat up his wife.
But still booooooo.

thought there’d be a few more teams out of the mire by now but nope, anyone from 12th down could still get relegated. ridiculous

Fourth match for R and he finally saw his first Southend goal live!

2-2 draw not too bad against Blackpool, who filled the ground after outing the Oyston’s. great atmosphere, just rough to concede from an OG in the 96th

We’ve got Shrewsbury on Tuesday Shrewbie (I just said that sentence out loud, very satisfying) Massive game.

Darren Moore sacked for only being fourth.

Arseholes. Hope they do a Brum.

Get serious Joe Hart vibes from Pickford. Great shot stopper, complete liability otherwise.

Absolutely hilarious tackle for the penalty in fairness.

See, i don’t feel like this at all. I think City should be punished for their aggressive academy recruitment and for some of the creative accounting, 100%. They might just be an inevitable by-product of three decades of big club greed, but there’s no doubt them, PSG and Chelsea have notched it up a few levels, so fair’s fair.

If they got more than a 12-month transfer and CL ban, though, i’d probably argue Guardiola might not be the best man for the job, which sounds ridiculous, he’s the best coach in the world by an absolute stretch, the gulf between him and the next best (probably Allegri) is vast, but i don’t know if he’d be the man for two budgetless seasons and bringing through a batch of academy players.

I genuinely think Pochettino’s brilliant. The man’s a class act. I’ve never really been able to take to Guardiola completely because let’s be honest he’s a bloody psychopath. We know four years is the optimum for a top coach at one club, if you offered one more season of Pep after this then Pochettino i’d be giddy. Let’s be honest, every City fan to a man was gutted at the prospect of him going to United.

Woy blaming the wind for the loss there. You can take the lad out of Liverpool…

Fine Anti-bants

(didn’t read it)

We were shite, but the wind did have a big hand in the first.

Yeah he was pretty graceful about it overall, just doing some vague Liverpool banter.

I wouldn’t be… completely devastated if Poch was the next appointment? I know the punditocracy at large has decided it’s no longer a big deal that he’s failed to win a trophy with far and away the best Spurs team of a generation, but it stands out to me that he doesn’t seem able to instill the bloody-mindedness that gets you awards. Perhaps that wouldn’t matter as much if he was given a team of winners in the first place.

Pep abandoning ship amongst transfer/CL bans would be devastating though, I don’t think you can argue your way around that, and the manager who took over afterwards would basically be accepting an exercise in bag-carrying.

Poch doesn’t play with a midfield. Given that it’s your strength, think that might be a problem

Do you think they’re grown in vats? As soon as one Tony Pulis dies another takes over, on and on, a hoof towards Jon Walters on the face of a human being forever.

I’ll be really happy with a draw today, whether Matic and Herrera are back or not. Utd have the most difficult run in but I’d hope we could keep up with Arsenal/Chelsea/Spurs nevertheless. Depends on how we navigate the champions league and FA cup and when we get knocked out of both
