She is exquisite live. Saw her on the July tour, which is a fantastic album, back in 2014 and she was brilliant. What a voice.

So underrated. Shes of the same generation as Sharon Van Etten and Angel Olsen yet never gets the same attention or praise. I hope something happens for her with this new album.

Will probably be working the door in Cov, wave if you’re about! (Hyped, am a fan, hope she plays ‘Are You Really Gonna Move To The South?’)

Tickets are under £19 for the concerts which is a bargain

Might have considered a northern gig but she isn’t someone I’d go out of my way too see. I think she’s really consistent on record but wouldn’t say she’s ever released an outstanding record. Got a great vibe though.

July fully deserved the praise it got at the time - remember Pitchfork giving it a 8.1 rating - and I would argue it is her best. The production on the album, creating such an ethereal yet sinister tone, and songs that contain some of her best lyrics and melodies, created one of the best albums of 2014, imo. But yeah, she’s more consistent than spectacular. She’s truely exceptional live though. Her voice is something else, and if you ever get the chance to see her you won’t regret it.
