I’m obviously absolutely loving this show. I live for the cringe moments.

Couple 1:

  • Very very odd and unnerving he only had female friends. Has he been “friendzoned” by all those ladies?
  • Also an incredibly odd match for a woman who has insecurity issues. Surely that will be a terrible match re: trust issues?
  • He’s too much of a sap
  • She is not into it at all but she’s being a sour faced moo tbh (don’t blame her, I wouldn’t be able to hide my feelings)

Couple 2:

  • They actually seem to get along quite well
  • They’re both a bit odd though
  • The dad. Oh boy the dad.

The groom keeps going on about how he only dates really really attractive women so he wants to try someone less his type. The dad repeatedly goes on about how his girlfriends have been models and so attractive and he hoped she would be “attractive, slim and athletic”. He was incredibly disappointed by seeing Verity, who is a beautiful girl!

I’m keen to see this chumps ex girlfriends cause theres no way his joker mouth is pulling a model lets be real

It is an irritating repeating motif about yer man in couple 2 that he has this “type”, and they are all stunners, but it increasingly just sounds like it means he had two girlfriends previously who were tall, and his dad fancied them.

I think he (the groom) is actually way more insecure than his family realise, and he is actually being really nice to new wife and letting things find their feet, as he has discovered its quite nice to be with someone nice, rather than trying to help your dad go “PHHHHHWOOOOAAAAR WHAT A SCORCHER SON!”
