i have bet on any of rose, thomas, dechambeau, spieth or mcilroy to win outright. if any of them come in i’ll at least get my money back at least so thought it was a fun thing to chuck a tenner on in total. not a gambler at all so stuff like this is big money for me!

Read the last 6 years of DiS Masters threads this morning, got me good and excited. Reminded me of various things that we won’t hear about - the Masters penalising a kid of 14 for slow play, Ernie 7-putting at the first from 3 feet, Sergio taking 13 on a par 5, Tiger signing for the wrong score and not getting thrown out, Fowler getting in a temper and being booed by the crowd, etc

Did a bit of crude maths and worked out that for the last 10 years the eventual Masters winner, on average after Day 1, is 2.7 shots off the lead. Could be some betting value in Adam Scott (22/1) and Kevin Kisner (35/1) out of the pack at -3.
