Assault on Precinct 13 is on All 4
I just write it all in Notes on my telephone. Films, TV series, plays, gigs, books, all of that. Find it vaguely satisfying and like to browse though and have a nice little remember now and then
Yeah just look at diary on letterboxd and manually count
Probably going to spend some time on bank holiday weekend trying to get into the letterboxd API to see if I can build something in tableau and publish it. To get something a bit friendlier to use. Will obviously post it in here if I manage to get something working
Oh thought you were all doing Letterboxd, my bad
I haven’t watched a new film since lockdown started. Probably because I get no time alone in this house.
I meant letterboxd not mubi
14 films (all new to me) Best - The Virgin Suicides Worst - Jawbreaker Most disappointing - The Farewell
film logging functionality in mubi is way prettier than letterboxd, shame nobody else uses it
Would tell you how many films I watched in April, but bro, I do it for the love, not to see a number get higher
anyone watch Ema yet? Pablo Larrain’s new picture… thought it was laughably bad! deeply embarassing. people loved Jackie didn’t they? I had some interest in No and Neruda but probably will avoid them now
It’s on Mubi from tomorrow
And No is really good.
Ema’s on there today for (I think) one day only!
or do you mean something else?
or is coming officially for the regular 30 days? all I know is you can watch it already
just going to keep editing this
Its on today for free for non-subscribers then from tomorrow foe 30 days as usual.
April: 21 films New to me: 21 Best: Autumn Sonata, Perfect Blue, Fanny and Alexander, Tower, Oasis Worst: Goal II, The Invisible Man
My viewing today was Vera Chytilova’s early ‘doc’ A bagful of Fleas and …Assault on Precinct 13
What a double bill!
You can’t have 4 favs and 2 worst ffs
Just watched Le Cercle Rouge (magnificent) on MUBI, because it was still available if you searched for it despite having EXPIRED AT MIDNIGHT a week ago. Does this happen often?
You sure you didnt pay? They often have films on after theyve expired as rentals
Nope. Just says ‘Now Showing’ rather than ‘Rent for £x’.
