Rojo! I think we have discussed before but that guy is a genuinely awful awful player

Cant stand the cunt. Of all the shit we’ve signed in the last few years he’s the one I hate the most.

I think that’s a little unfair.

Leicester, Wolves and Everton.

Tielemans has probably done that thing that must be really annoying for fans where he’s done so well on loan that you’d expect a bigger fish to take the opportunity (happened with Alderweireld at Spurs iirc? Also apparently Andre Gomes, now)

Hope not though. Would be really good if 7th-11th can strengthen to put more pressure on the top six. A lot of positive signs at Wolves, Everton, Leicester - maybe even Newcastle if Rafa gets backed.

It’ll inevitably turn terrible but there’s been murmurings talks are actually progressing at Newcastle. There was that one weird summer where Ashley put his hand in his pocket and backed McClaren with Wijnaldum etc…

Makes a mean breakfast though

Nothing beats a plate of burnt toast to go with squints a cup of dry vegetable stock.

I think Leicester are the best team to watch outside of Liverpool, City and Spurs. I even thought they were decent on the eye under Puel, though i know you disagree.

It sounds like Chilwell might be on his way to City. Quite suspicious of his release clause suddenly being leaked that only really comes from an agent. Suspect that Tielemans might have offers from a fair few clubs in the Champions League (surely Liverpool could find a space for him?) but i hope he stays and plays every week.

The recruitment’s so good there, though, that i don’t think any supporter should really fret if one or two do leave. I’d expect them to finish at least 7th next season in either case and hopefully put a bit more into the domestic cups.

Didn’t know Rojo got a new deal. You’ve almost got to admire Woodwork’s dedication to complete incompetence. Surely he’s United’s fifth choice centre-half at best?

Interestingly, there’s a lifelong Evertonian (Duffy) at centre-half for Brighton, and a lifelong Liverpool supporter (Coady) at centre-half for Wolves.

Didnt Nuno Santo once say his favourite actor was the lad who played Jimmy Corkhill?

Ray Von comparing it to rape whlst Cast play is very odd

I’ve got an inkling about this too. It took City 70 minutes to break Leicester down in a must-win game and via a one-in-a-million strike from a CB. The FA Cup semi was tight and they went through via an early lucky goal, didn’t look commanding at all. They’ve got the psychological pressure of being expected to win coupled with a recent upset in a vital game in a major tourno. Think, as is the case with most Brighton games, it’ll come down to us getting lucky with one of our scarce attacks and managing to put an unlikely goal in.

We’ve also got that weird boost of being at the end of the season, surviving relegation, nothing but pride to play for, and coming off a point away to one of the top 6.

1-1 for me, late game equaliser from Bruno to seal his career off would be nice

Almost everyone is talking about the possible prospect of City dropping points at Brighton, allowing Liverpool to win the league, but I think it’s more likely that Liverpool themselves will drop points at home to Wolves.

Man City to win and Liverpool to draw is what I think will happen.

Farewell videos should lead to relegation

Hope you can all see that I’m not doing this myself.

Can’t see man city picking up anything against this plucky and extremely talented Hove side

Would love us (spurs) to sign him, no offence

But I said no offence!!!

The only shit thing about this season for me (so far!) has been loads of clubs nicking that Allez, Allez, Allez song from the French lower-leagues. Virtually everyone north of Oxford sings it now and it’s utter, utter shite.
