Was pleasantly surprised by the Smiths stuff because in general they’re not very good

that’s what I was afraid of!

Did not like Kae Tempest at all at the time but the enthusiasm of a friend who is a big fan has rubbed off on me and I quite like Let Them Eat Chaos now.

Voted for that but not arsed about any of the rest. Should probably check out the Loyle Carner one though I presume?

J Hus record is good

Saw Kae Tempest do Let Them Eat Chaos at Primavera in the Apolo on the Wednesday night and it was ace. Then I saw them and a mate absolutely going for it during Aphex Twin.

I think Let Them Eat Chaos is my favourite album of theirs but I can completely understand why people don’t like it.

Still fascinated by how Glass Animals got so big they supported Yeasayer years ago and were shit.

Didn’t much care for the last Glass Animals album but I thought that Mercury nominated album was very good

Eh.

J Hus record is absolutely vital. Rest of that list is just… meh. Amazing how uninspiring so many of these lists are.

Is Dinosaur the token jazz band?

The singer is a dead ringer for Miles Hunt of the Wonderstuff!

That’s a shocking list

Can’t call who will come out on top when it’s so mediocre.

I don’t think I can bring myself to vote for any of them. Abstain
