Merging when there are two lanes and one stops (Driving)

It’s okay. He’s obviously a cyclist.

Clarification please: is there anyone on any of the other roads? Am i going left or right? If no one’s around and no danger of encountering another vehicle, i dont indicate.

Like james dean, me.

Dead in a rta

There might be. Other road users are sneaky like that.

If im going left, i’ll be able to tell… going right, obv not.

I don’t make a conscious decision about indicating depending on the circumstances. I just do it on autopilot.

  • I regularly go 10-20mph (sometimes more) above the speed limit on a motorway
  • I stick to the speed limit fairly strictly

there’s no hand wringing I just want to fuck them right up by increasing the level of light they can see in their rear view mirror temporarily. won’t be trying that again will they

why do this though? Do you say thank you to automatic doors when they open for you?

There’s a significant gap between those two choices.

not even sure what the speed limit is now

Where I’m going on the roundabout is relevant to more road users than the ones behind me.

I would say going less than 10mph over is basically the same

oh right misread the question. I bet you indicate on empty country lanes and stuff as well though, weirdo.

I’m not sure the opinion of a white van driver is relevant here.

Yeah probably do, as it’s a reflex. Takes basically zero effort to be considerate in case someone shows up I hadn’t accounted for.

I’m officially no longer a white van driver :frowning:

Once a white van man, always a white van man.
