   AH JESUS.

Our friends have a beagle and we are always attempting to persuade them to get her a wee dog patch jacket (theyre into their metal) the guy is up for it but the woman is having none of it. Spoil sport.

I tried to put some tinsel on the cat earlier… this is the best I could do without her going radge -

No fun.

Aaaah. Okay. I knew it must be cock related. Thank you for confirming this

trying to put tinsel on a cat is what they should have had rocky doing instead of trying to catch chickens

 I knoooow. It was a plan that was doomed to fail. She’s pretty old and quite slow and sleepy so I thought she’d tolerate it :grimacing: This is maybe why I shouldn’t have pets.

I once built a pulley system with a hanging basket for my hamster.

Finished it. Enjoyed it a lot.

Apparently impossible to get drunk but have spent the past few hours playing some game where you pretend you’re not a a werewolf. Quite fun that.

Have had a grand day hanging out with the team. Got a nice big roasting bowl to make lots of amazing things in.
How’s your day been?

A roasting bowl, eh? I have never heard the words roasting and bowl together. cool!! What roasting ambitions do you have in 2018??

I’m desperate to make some crackling soon. Jamie Oliver made the best looking pork in the alps the other day.

My day has been ok thanks. Not enough drinking tbh  Going to go full on berserker with the make up my mum got me tomorrow. So that’ll be good.

It is really cool, I feel as though you could have a whole range of homewares with climbing holds replacing handles.

We had a pretty good day, colds aside, thanks. Hope it was a nice one for you and yours :slightly_smiling_face:

Tbf, most of the meat was just different variations of pork, so we only really killed two animals! Christmas is the only time I really enjoy eating meat tbh.

Christmas dinner pickles are the best, you need to introduce it as a concept to your family.

Chocolate ice cream doesn’t even go with apple strudel :open_mouth: Poor dessert offerings from your hosts there, second dinners are great though :+1:

Can’t believe you lumped that into one of “my” games. Can’t stand social deduction games. The rulebooks don’t look like the Yellow Pages or anything ffs.

Sadness in her eyes.

:thinking:yeah actually roasting bowl doesn’t sound right, it’s a casserole thing, big cast iron number. And this year I’m gknna make all the stews/ratatouilles etc :grinning:
Love some crackling and I can imagine it tastes even better in the alps👍
How’s it up north?

Nice!! You seem like a pretty brilliant cook. You should post more pics of your creations.

Up north is ok, it is lovely seeing the parental unit. Tho, I’m quite looking forward to Hogmanay back in Edinburgh. What be your new year plans?

@xylo woah there, parsnips are a bit exotic

Hmmm I’m ok I guess.
Are you going to the street party thing?
I’m still thinking of staying in on New Years and having a party for one :+1:

For all the dog chat, here’s my dad and my “sister”

Ooohhh yeah!! Forgot about that. That sounds like a nice plan, new year can be such a stress. We’re going to portobello! As far away from the street party as possible  our friends have a party most years and live right on the beach. There’s bonfires and fireworks (they made bramble cocktails last year ) so it’s always pretty nice.
