I’ve got 4! Alive or Just Breathing, Heartache, Daylight and self-titled. Got weirdly obsessed with them after I saw them at Download 7 years ago. Bloody hell

I really like the line ups with both singers, but a mate of mine is particularly obsessed with Howard and has pretty much dropped any interest in the band since Jesse returned. I listened to one of those Takeovers on Kerrang Radio with Jesse and he came across pretty sound. Haven’t seen them live with him yet though.

Personally, I think lumping ETID and Botch in with the ‘metalcore’ bunch is like referring to Deftones as a ‘Nu metal’ band. Metalcore became a very different thing in the noughties and true enough, bands like Botch, Vision of Disorder, Poison The Well and All out War were certainly the precedent for the genre tag inthe late '90s, but they have very little in common sonically with the likes of Shadows Fall, Killswitch Engage et al. and generally that’s to do with more intriguing and complex song writing imo.
