Not what he’s most remembered for obviously but he’s low key my favourite part of Kill Bill vol 2. Can’t really put my finger on it but just love everything around that character and his performance

To My Brother Budd, The Only Man I Ever Loved, - Bill

Very sad news :frowning:

He’s great in it. ā€œWakey wakey… eggs and bacyā€¦ā€ is still in my vernacular.

Crikey. Always been there, popping up in the oddest places. Like Yakuza and Driver 3. RIP

Aside from the obvious roles, really liked him in Species. Read somewhere that one of his favourite roles was being the dad in Free Willy.

A great character actor is hard to beat, and he was one of the ones you’d always notice. He might only have five minutes but he’d grab your attention regardless.

A commanding stage presence. Had the intense, gravelly voiced villain type laid down pat. He’s great as Sonny Black in Donnie Brasco. RIP.

328 IMDB credits, he was the Buckethead of movies.

He was always a treat popping up in stuff. This is so sad.

I play softball with people from work. Hadn’t played this summer until tonight. Only one guy wanted to go to the pub after the game, and weirdly enough he lives near me. And also… he’s 67.

So…

yeah this, fuck!

I remember seeing an interview with him that took place in a drained swimming pool outside an old castle… does it ring any bells to anyone? Google’s not saying much

He always makes me think of Wargames and his wonderfully robotic performance as they guy in the nuclear bunker who is willing to turn his key and launch the missiles.

That’s a real shame, still young.
His scene in reservoir dogs (i’d never heard of him before that) dancing to stuck in the middle with you is and will always be one of the the most iconic in cinema. Played mr blonde with such genuine menace, brilliant.
