Microwaveable meals need to standardise their example wattages. Some say 700W and 800W, some say 750W or 900W and it’s just a fucking mess.
Just fucking stop it halfway and give whatever you’re nuking a stir
Tough luck if it’s solid
Gold standard wattage
- 800W
- Something else, I don’t know

800! What am I made of watts? 700 max
gf told me a story the other day about a pal who would use the microwave like a timer, so just turning it on with nothing in it to use as a countdown rather than using a timer on your phone or whatever, no matter what they were cooking. so if summat had to go in the oven for 20 mins they would just put the microwave on for 20 mins i guess. anyway eventually the microwave exploded because that was a really daft thing to do
- Just stick the thing in. If it turns, it turns. If it doesn’t, it’s the same thing
- Needs to turn

Life’s too short to worry about whether your beans are turning
Panasonic microwaves do chaos defrosting.
at work once a colleague found someone trying to microwave something in a metal container or something metallic (it was ages ago, I forget the details), which is bad, so she told them they couldn’t do that, explained why etc. and they left.
so the microwaver just went upstairs to a different kitchen to microwave it there instead, where my colleague found them again and was really impressed that they’d completely ignored everything she’d told them the first time.
one time someone at work microwaved fish
