Imagine having all this money and needing to find talent that isn’t part of someone else’s stockpile. Southampton regularly manage it, a few others with one or two players, but no one else really does.
To me, it says more about the fact that clubs with so much money cannot find decent value in the market. You start to question whether it actually exists. And, when it does is the competition for it fair?
