I have now spoken to the landlord of the Rising Sun and he said that they don’t book the darts board. However, he said at that sort of time (7 PM) the pub probably wouldn’t be too busy.
I was there yesterday afternoon about 3 PM and there were 2 people playing darts, and some people in the pub but by no means rammed and several free tables.
Up to you if you want to chance it.

Really want to go but don’t think I can financially justify the travel to and from London and have a hike first thing Sunday morning. I’ll go to the next one for sure
