Shakhtar were dead good, had us rumbled in the first half at least. Really struggled against that high off-side trap and I wouldn’t be surprised to see more teams adopting it against City now.

Fair fuck to Delph, he was quietly effective and it’d be great if we suddenly, magically had another competent full back, because I’ve been having nightmares of Mangala being drafted in there.

It was 4th v 5th in the Bostik Prem’s big game last night.

We came away with a flattering 3-0 win, largely thanks to Niko Muir continuing his shit-hot start to the season with goals number 11 & 12, and assist number 5 in only his 11th game of the season. The boy is in the purplest of patches right now.

Scouts were there from Reading, Wolves, Leyton Orient, Wycombe & Cambridge, amongst others. Thankfully, we’ve got the boy under contract so will be due some sort of remuneration should he be subject to any kind of a bid.

the defenders are distracted by the spurs players ahead of kane, they’re not looking at him at all. if they were there making those runs i assume they defense would’ve made at least some attempt to stop him. that’s why it’s not kane beating the opposition on his own

not sure why i’m rambling on about this, maybe just cos i just love harry kane
