This thread made me realise I’ve yet to have one. Got 6 all butter ones and 4 cherry & almond frangipane mince pies from Waitrose. We shall see how long they last.

My opinion on mince pies is: sure, I’ll eat one if they’re lying around at work but I would never, ever spend actual money to procure some.
Power rankings so far are Asda then tescos then morrisons. All the best type own brand ones. Asda really fill them up qnd the filling was slightly more rich than sweet which suits me but maybe tesco pastry was better.
